### How long does a typical project take?
It depends on scope, but most website projects run four to eight weeks, and custom software projects typically run two to four months for a first version. We work in stages, so you're seeing real progress early rather than waiting for a big reveal at the end. Before we start, we'll give you a clear timeline with milestones — and because most of our clients work with us on a retainer, the launch date is usually a starting point rather than a finish line.

### Why choose custom software over SaaS?
SaaS tools are great until your business outgrows them. You end up paying for five subscriptions that each do 70% of what you need, stitching them together with workarounds, and shaping your processes around someone else's product. Custom software flips that: it's built around how you work, it does exactly what you need it to, and you own it. It's usually a bigger upfront investment, but over a few years the math often favours custom — no per-seat fees creeping up, no feature you depend on getting killed in an update. ### Can AI replace custom software?

### Do you work with businesses after launch?
Yes — in fact, that's how most of our client relationships work. We operate primarily on a retainer model, which means we stay involved after launch to maintain what we've built, ship improvements, and take on new work as your business grows. You get a team that already knows your systems, your brand, and your goals, without having to re-explain everything each time something comes up. Launch is the beginning of the relationship, not the end of it.

### Do you only build websites?
No. Websites are often where a relationship starts, but most of our work goes deeper than that. We build web and mobile apps, internal tools, client portals, and the automation that connects them. A lot of our clients come to us for a website and stay because we end up improving how their whole business runs — the booking system, the reporting, the handoffs between teams.
